See Theory™ Practice Studio
The Practice Studio is a subscription-based learning space designed to help you see how haircutting works.
Each haircut module is short, visual, and focused.
Rather than copying techniques or memorizing steps, the emphasis is on observation and reflection.
Over time, this builds a clearer understanding of the mechanics behind haircutting decisions and supports more intentional work.Â

How Each Haircut Module is Structured
Haircut Introduction
A short introduction that outlines the haircut and offers context before the work begins, so you know what you’re looking at and why.
The Haircut (Part 1 & 2)
Each haircut is shown in two short, focused videos. They’re intentionally dense and easy to pause, rewind, and rewatch.
There’s no fluff and no drawn-out moments. Repetitive sections are sped up so attention stays on what matters. Every element is there on purpose. Less volume. More clarity.
Animated lines, visual cues, and occasional use of color help you visualize what's going on in the haircut better.
Simple, descriptive language supports the visuals so you can follow the work with your eyes.
Written steps and head diagrams are included below each video as additional ways to understand what you just watched.
Breaking the haircut into two parts is intentional. It slows the experience down, supports focus, and helps prevent overwhelm or memorization.
Breakdowns (Part 1 & 2)
This section is where we pause on a specific moment or idea from the haircut and explore it a little further.
It’s simply a chance to look more closely at something that matters.
Reflection Quiz
At the end of each haircut, you’ll see a short quiz.
It’s simply a way to process what you saw, so the learning settles a little deeper.

Learning Beyond the Haircut
Practice Studio is a place to see the principles of haircutting in action.
That means any haircut can teach you something useful, even ones you may never do behind the chair.
- A pixie might help you understand why cutting past the second knuckle matters
- A bob might clarify how tension affects the outcome
The principles behind those moments apply across all haircuts.
Try not to limit yourself to only the haircuts you think you’ll “use.” Insight from one haircut often solves problems in a completely different one.

If you've already taken a See Theory™ class, the Practice Studio will give you a place to see those ideas in action.

Practice Studio offers:
- a self-paced way to revisit ideas
- visual reinforcement through real haircut examples
- a structure that encourages continued study and intentional practice
This is a place designed to support continued observation, study, and practice using the haircuts as the context.

If You Haven't Taken a See Theory™ Class Yet
Â
If you've found value in the reels that I've shared on Instagram, this is a place to spend more time with that way of thinking.
This isn't a typical step-by-step haircut video where you're told what and told why. In the Practice Studio, the focus is on seeing what's happening as the haircut unfolds.
The visuals, language, and structure are designed to help you observe the mechanics behind haircutting in real time.Â
You're not asked to memorize, copy, or take my word for it. You're given the opportunity to look, notice, and draw from your own understanding from what you see.
The Practice Studio doesn't replace learning haircutting theory, but it does offer a different way to engage with haircuts. It prioritizes observation and reflection over instruction.Â
